Montgomery County Stormwater Inspections

Project Highlight

Kumi Construction Management Corporation (KCM), in partnership with Charles P. Johnson, Inc. (CPJ) of Silver Spring, MD, is providing inspections on storm water systems in Montgomery County, MD. CPJ, the prime contractor for the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), MD, is responsible for over 1500 annual inspections on both surface and sub-surface structures such as ponds, stormceptors, oil-grit separators, and underground storages.

KCM is responsible for providing inspectors to access the condition of the structures for proper functionality and structural integrity through visual inspections, backed by digital photographs and written assessment forms. The data collected in the field is entered into a computer program and uploaded to the DEP of Montgomery County's master database via File Transfer Protocol (FTP).
